I got accepted at the Photo Academy Rotterdam last week! I was so excited I barely slept that week. But everything went fine - they told me I could register if I wanted so I can start in September. It's a private school so it's quite expensive and I can hardly afford it but that shouldn't be a problem I guess. The Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn often gives workshops at the Academy - which I think is amazing. I think he's wonderful. Having a blast already - can't wait to start. There's like 10 students a year. Garrr....

Also - the Dutch 'core 'Up Magazine' hired me as a live photographer on hardcore shows all around the country. Brill! I'll have my first show tomorrow at the Effenaar in Eindhoven. Dillinger Escape Plan will be playing with Poison the Well as support act.

Everything is going fine, I guess. I keep telling everyone I'll start posting more on DA but, honestly I don't. It's a shame though - but I don't have the time to post anything. Currently touring the country with 2 bands (Moke & Otis) and enjoying a lot of after-after-afterparties. Oh yeah, and school. Bleeeurgh

Got some nice news to tell you. I'll soon have my photo's (published in the newspaper BN/deStem) exposed at the NorbertusCollege, Roosendaal. As you might know I work for the newspapers and currently running a column (photo series) every Saturday about the horrbile/great life at school. The expo will be open for outsiders on 26 February. Feel free to come over, if you're anywhere near Roosendaal!
I'll post some photo's of it all when it's finally there.

Something else - anyone known with the poet Suzanne Roberts? She sent me an email the other day about having one of my photos as the cover on one of her new books. I said yes immediatley, the book will be out late 2009, maybe even 2010. So we're still at the beginning, I'll keep you posted.

The lovely lads of Otis (www.hail-otis.com) made me their rock-photographer. You might have seen some photo's of them in my gallery already. I'll be touring with them as their photographer, will also have a photoshoot with them in the near future, and it's going to be excentric.. I'll keep you posted on this one as well!

Had some (live)photoshoots with bands.. such as Moke (www.mokemusic.com) - you might have heard of 'm? They're about to tour in Europe. Their new vid 'Heart without a home' is out now on MTV - also the songtrack for the Dutch movie 'TBS' by Pieter Kuijpers which will be released tonight.

My subscription will soon be ended in February. Remember when I won the 'Be Afraid' contest of DA? This was my prize

And I currently go through life as LSRS, which, of course, is short for 'lienosaurus'.
